IT Project Manager

About the role

The client, an international company based in Geneva, is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead strategic software initiatives that support global business operations and customer‑facing services. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring complex projects are delivered on time and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver projects from initiation through completion, defining roadmaps, timelines, dependencies and milestones.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, Scrum Masters, developers and technical experts to align on goals and priorities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues, providing regular status updates and executive reporting.
• Support Agile delivery teams by removing obstacles, facilitating collaboration and fostering continuous improvement.
• Coordinate backlog prioritisation and refinement with business analysts and subject‑matter experts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, Technical Project Manager or Agile Project Manager on complex software delivery initiatives.
• Strong background managing multi‑stakeholder, systems‑integration and data‑driven projects.
• Experience working in an international, multicultural environment with globally distributed teams.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Professional project‑management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or PMI‑ACP.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and multidisciplinary team coordination.
• Technical knowledge of cloud‑based, data‑centric environments, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem.
