IT Specialist – Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

Humanis AG is looking for an IT specialist with a strong technical background to join its network of highly qualified professionals working on demanding, mission-critical projects. Depending on your expertise and interests, you will contribute to projects in areas such as enterprise software design, application and data architecture, distributed platforms, and secure IT infrastructures and communication systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex enterprise-grade software solutions and modern frontend applications with Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Define and evolve application, data and integration architectures, including service-oriented and event-driven systems
• Develop backend services and REST APIs, and integrate heterogeneous systems with messaging and event-streaming technologies
• Build containerized applications in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments, and create CI/CD pipelines
• Implement authentication and authorization based on modern identity standards, and ensure monitoring, observability and operational excellence
• Define software architecture standards, best practices and development guidelines

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a comparable discipline
• Several years of professional experience as a Front-end Software Engineer
• Fluent German and English
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with interdisciplinary and international teams

Required skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular
• Practical experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
• CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab-based
• Event-streaming and messaging technologies, especially Apache Kafka
• REST API development and modern authentication and authorization standards
