About the role
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be the first point of contact for end‑user IT support across Gottex Brokers’ offices. You will ensure smooth daily operations, provide high‑quality 1st and 2nd level assistance, and support ongoing IT projects in a fast‑paced financial brokerage environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1st and 2nd level support for Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers and video‑conferencing tools, both on‑site and remotely.
- Manage incident and service request tickets throughout their lifecycle following ITIL best practices.
- Install, configure and deploy hardware (workstations, laptops, monitors, telephony equipment).
- Administer user lifecycle in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (on‑boarding, off‑boarding, permissions, mailboxes, MFA, group memberships).
- Support financial tools and market data applications such as Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv and IPC, coordinating with vendors.
- Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of hardware, software licences and IT assets.
- Assist with patching, antivirus, backup checks and basic monitoring of servers and network equipment under supervision.
- Escalate complex incidents to the Head of IT or external vendors and follow through to resolution.
- Participate in IT projects (telephony rollout, infrastructure refresh, security initiatives) and scheduled maintenance windows.
- Travel occasionally to Zurich, Stockholm, Oslo and London to support local users and deploy equipment.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of professional experience in an IT support or service‑desk role, preferably within financial services or brokerage.
- Formal IT qualification (CFC in IT, Brevet fédéral, Bachelor in IT or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 suite and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with FINMA, ISO 27001 and DORA compliance requirements.
