IT Support/System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support/System Administrator to join our team and provide high‑quality technical assistance to a range of customers across Switzerland. You will work both remotely and on‑site, handling incidents, maintaining infrastructure, and contributing to internal and customer projects.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, triage and resolve support requests and incident reports.
• Deliver remote and on‑site assistance for small to large customers.
• Create and maintain operational manuals, documentation and checklists.
• Operate and monitor on‑premises and cloud‑based servers and networks.
• Participate in internal IT initiatives and on‑site customer projects.
• Support continuous improvement of IT services and cloud offerings.

Required profile

• Completed education in Information Technology or a comparable recognized qualification.
• Several years of practical experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout Switzerland.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
• Understanding of networking technologies: TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, routing, switching, VLANs and firewalls.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP (advantage).
