Java DevOps Engineer – Banking – Geneva (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Java DevOps Engineer to join a leading bank in Geneva. The role combines Java development, micro‑service design, and end‑to‑end DevOps automation in a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and secure Java‑based micro‑services and REST APIs using Spring Boot.
• Own the full CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and automate deployments with Terraform, Helm and Puppet.
• Manage containerised workloads on Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement observability using Grafana, Prometheus and Dynatrace, and lead incident management with root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive DevOps best practices and platform automation.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience in Java development and DevOps engineering.
• Strong background in banking, financial services or capital markets is highly preferred.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willingness to relocate to Switzerland and obtain a Swiss work permit if not already domiciled.
