Java Fullstack Engineer

About the role

As a Java Fullstack Engineer you will design and implement versatile customer projects in web and enterprise environments, using modern agile methods. You will work closely with customers to translate business needs into high‑quality software and collaborate with a development team to deliver clean, maintainable code.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business and translate requirements into software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using pair‑ and mob‑programming.
• Support the entire software lifecycle with a DevOps mindset, from ideation to production.
• Automate quality checks using test‑driven development and specification by example.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and share knowledge with the team.
• Visit customer sites 2‑3 times per week as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years proven experience as a Java developer.
• Customer‑first mindset and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level).

• AI‑augmented engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
