About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join a state‑backed medical technology company in Bern. You will work on innovative digital health solutions that support clinicians and improve patient outcomes, using the latest Java and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

Develop and enhance mission‑critical medical software platforms using Java and modern frameworks.
Collaborate with product, clinical and engineering teams to design secure, high‑performance systems.
Implement and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs, database integrations and cloud‑native services.

Required profile

Hands‑on experience with Java (11, 17, 21) and the Spring ecosystem.
Familiarity with Agile development, strong analytical and communication skills.
Previous exposure to medical or regulated environments is a plus.
