Junior C++ Software Engineer – Zurich

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our high‑performing team in Zurich. You will help design, build and optimise ultra‑low‑latency trading systems that power next‑generation execution strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑performance, deterministic software in C++ and related languages.
• Design and optimise low‑latency components for trading and market data.
• Work with Linux, networking, virtualization and performance‑tuning tools.
• Collaborate on cloud and DevOps initiatives using AWS, Docker and Kubernetes (bonus).
• Contribute to the implementation of trading strategies and option‑pricing logic.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer using C++ in performance‑critical environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in low‑latency system design and optimisation.
• Interest in C++, Rust, C and Python.
• Knowledge of derivatives, especially options, is a strong plus.
