Junior Founder's Associate Intern (AI + Biotech)

About the role

PathoMatch AI is an early-stage, stealth-mode healthtech startup developing an AI-powered platform that links pathogen genomics with biologic therapies such as phages, fungi and mycoviruses, aiming to combat antibiotic resistance. It is in the early build phase and is looking for a Junior Founder's Associate Intern (20-30% workload, 12 months, unpaid) to support the founding team across strategy, operations, growth and project management. The internship is hybrid, with regular meetings in St. Gallen.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with the founder and his chief of staff on operations, research, investor materials and internal strategy
• Help prepare pitch decks, documentation and internal and external communications
• Carry out deep-dive market and competitor research
• Help coordinate pilot collaborations, product workflows and early regulatory planning
• Take part in high-level discussions and wear many hats

Required profile

• Motivated student or recent graduate in business, biotech, health sciences or a related field
• Willing to meet in St. Gallen 2-3 times per week for short check-ins
• Eager to contribute in a fast-paced, no-scripts startup environment; curious, independent, organized and hands-on
• Bonus: interest in digital health, LLMs or genomics
