Junior IT Support Technician

About the role

Excis Compliance is seeking a proactive Junior IT Support Technician to join its team in Montreux, Switzerland. You will provide on‑site assistance for end‑users, handling a variety of hardware and software issues while following established processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with hands‑on on‑site support activities.
• Handle incidents and service requests according to SOPs.
• Stage PCs and mobile devices (imaging, enrolment, tagging, testing).
• Support laptops, desktops, iPhones, iPads and other workplace devices.
• Perform routine checks of meeting rooms and AV equipment.
• Install software when remote deployment is not possible.
• Update CMDB and asset records during deployments and replacements.
• Troubleshoot basic printer issues.
• Escalate complex problems with proper documentation.

Required profile

• Foundational troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of endpoint hardware, peripherals and mobile devices.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, SOPs and security guidelines.
• Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
• Fluent in English and French.
