Junior Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre (MCF)

About the role

Haskoning is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join its Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) Data Centre team. You will support the design and engineering of mechanical systems for cutting‑edge data centre projects across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer mechanical designs within multidisciplinary project teams, under the guidance of a Lead Engineer.
• Develop line diagrams for mechanical installations and coordinate space reservations with other disciplines.
• Model mechanical installations in 3D using Revit/BIM based on approved diagrams and space allocations.
• Apply knowledge of functionality, mountability, accessibility and maintainability to ensure constructability without revisions.
• Contribute to internal process optimisation and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with the ability to work for demanding, global customers.

• Interest in continuous learning and contributing to team improvement.

Required skills

• Mechanical design fundamentals.
• 3D modelling and BIM expertise, specifically Revit.
• Ability to create and interpret line diagrams for mechanical systems.
• Coordination skills with other engineering disciplines.
