About the role

DHL Express is hiring a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) for its Sales department in Regensdorf, starting on 1 January 2027 or upon agreement. The role is responsible for gaining, maintaining and growing profitable business within targeted industry segments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 8 to 10 key accounts
• Develop and implement business plans aligned to the Industry Sales Plan
• Engage in and resolve contract negotiations to build strong customer relationships
• Understand customers' transportation and supply chain needs, their decision-making units and opportunities to offer competitive advantages
• Ensure contracts are implemented professionally and share account knowledge and plans with key stakeholders
• Build knowledge of the customer's market environment and proactively engage functional experts to avoid diversionary activity

Required profile

• Sales background in logistics of 3 to 5 years (mandatory)
• Native or fluent German with excellent English; French is a plus
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
• Confidence dealing with senior decision-makers and strong negotiation skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships
