Key & Strategic Account Manager Grocery & Retail

About the role

Just Eat Takeaway.com is expanding its grocery delivery service in Switzerland and seeks a Key & Strategic Account Manager to drive growth with major supermarket and retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and build relationships with a portfolio of key grocery and retail accounts to ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Onboard and train new and existing stores, providing troubleshooting support.
• Develop and implement account plans, including expansion potential, marketing activities, and enhanced customer experience.
• Lead negotiations and prepare contract proposals for potential partners.
• Prepare, explain and follow‑up on management reports on sales performance.
• Advise key accounts on optimal use of Just Eat solutions such as discounts, deals, and stamp cards.
• Transfer best practices locally and globally and provide training to maximise performance.

Required profile

• Proven track record managing strategic or enterprise accounts in retail, gastronomy or a service‑oriented industry.
• Native German speaker with professional fluency in English; additional Italian or French is a plus.
• Result‑oriented with a history of exceeding targets.
• Client‑focused, agile mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
• High communication, networking and reliability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with G‑Suite.
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
• Familiarity with reporting tools.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as Gemini or Claude.
