Lead Inbound Transportation Operations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Lead to head our Inbound Transportation Operations in Zurich. Reporting to the Head of Inbound Transportation Operations, you will drive strategic initiatives and ensure products move efficiently from suppliers to warehouses across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise inbound delivery performance for a specific market, covering air, sea and road modes while meeting SLAs and lead‑time targets.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with Logistics Service Providers, Regional Operations, Customs and Supply Planning to proactively mitigate disruptions.
• Co‑lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with LSPs and market teams to evaluate KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the set‑up of new transport flows to warehouses, onboarding of new LSPs and scaling of Direct Ship operations.
• Standardise and re‑assess global transport requirements, sharing best practices while preserving local market agility.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in global transport operations, preferably within apparel/fashion supply chains or freight forwarding.
• Broad knowledge of all transport modes (airfreight, seafreight, truck, courier) and strong analytical, data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑changing environment and meet tight deadlines.
