Leader Cabin Mechanic - Business VIP Aviation

About the role

A leader cabin mechanic is needed for business VIP aviation work at the hangar facilities of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. The role leads cabin installation, modification and removal activities, ensures compliance with airworthiness standards and Part-145 regulations, and acts as a technical reference and mentor for junior mechanics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cabin installation, modification and removal in line with approved data and supervisor directives
• Ensure work meets airworthiness standards, company procedures and VIP quality expectations
• Monitor and enforce work sign-off, tool control and documentation compliance
• Manage team workload, prioritise tasks and deliver on tight schedules
• Report and follow up on non-conformities
• Mentor and support junior mechanics
• Ensure compliance with Part-145 requirements: inspections, torque application, locking devices, sealing, inserts installation and EWIS
• Interpret task cards, engineering drawings and maintenance manuals
• Handle aeronautical materials properly and keep the work area clean and organised

Required profile

• Mechanic and technical qualification with experience in business VIP aviation
• At least 3 years' experience as a cabin mechanic
• First leading experience is an advantage
• Good English to read technical documentation; French or German is an advantage
• Flexibility and a solution-oriented approach in a dynamic environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Part-145 knowledge (inspections, torque, locking devices, sealing, EWIS)
