Learning & Development Programme Manager (80-100%)

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Learning & Development Programme Manager to design and lead innovative learning initiatives across the bank. You will work on a global scale, partnering with senior leaders to align development programmes with strategic business goals and future banking needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and programme‑manage bank‑wide learning and development initiatives.
• Act as a sparring partner for senior business leaders, guiding needs analysis, design, planning and delivery of tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with internal subject‑matter experts and manage external training providers, including selection, contracting, quality control and budgeting.
• Serve as the primary contact for each programme, ensuring stakeholder alignment and effective communication.
• Contribute to broader Julius Baer Academy activities to promote lifelong learning.

Required profile

• University degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Pedagogy, Psychology or related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in corporate learning & development.
• Strong business acumen in wealth‑management and ability to translate stakeholder needs into L&D solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a “can‑do” attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Workday (preferred).
