Legal Counsel – Energy Sector (DACH)

About the role
We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join the in‑house legal team of an energy company operating in Switzerland and the broader DACH region. The role offers a hands‑on position with direct impact on commercial, regulatory and project matters.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as procurement and trading agreements.
- Advise internal stakeholders on insolvency and enforcement law issues.
- Support compliance with public‑law requirements, including public tender procedures.
- Provide legal counsel throughout all phases of complex projects, from planning and procurement to commissioning.
- Manage and coordinate the work of external law firms.
Required profile
- Law degree, preferably with a focus on Swiss commercial or regulatory law.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience, acquired in‑house within an industrial environment.
- Full professional fluency in German and English.
- Independent, hands‑on, solution‑oriented and pragmatic working style.
