Legal Counsel

About the role

Join Climeworks' in‑house legal team to provide high‑quality, pragmatic advice across the organization, supporting corporate, commercial, and compliance matters while helping accelerate the company’s net‑zero mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory and implement measures to accelerate service delivery.
• Negotiate and draft agreements across the Climeworks Group, covering corporate law, commercial contracts, and compliance.
• Support commercial partnerships and handle a variety of legal and commercial matters.
• Coordinate external legal support and design scalable, cost‑effective legal processes.
• Ensure alignment of purpose and work between client groups and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with solid background in corporate law, finance, commercial contracts, and business transactions.
• Swiss bar admission or experience in employment law, technology transactions, public policy, or project finance is a plus.
• Adaptable to fast‑paced, international environment with strong financial literacy.
• Mission‑driven, curious about technology, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Fluent in business English; German is a plus.
