Logistics Operator – 12‑month contract (Switzerland)

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Operator to keep laboratory operations running smoothly in Switzerland. The role is a 12‑month contract focused on managing supplies, inventory and shipments for lab and office areas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage laboratory supplies, including chemicals and consumables, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform warehouse tasks such as requisitioning, restocking and applying 6S and Kanban principles.
• Handle receipt, storage and shipment of pharmaceutical samples and technical materials following internal procedures.
• Provide administrative support for logistics activities and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist with and lead logistics‑related projects and warehouse improvements.

Required profile

• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English; basic spoken German.
• Good interpersonal skills for supplier and team collaboration.
• Relevant logistics education or apprenticeship.
• Minimum three years of logistics experience, preferably in a laboratory or life‑science environment.
• Legal right to work in Switzerland or an EU passport.
