Logistics Operator

About the role

The Logistics Operator will ensure smooth flow of laboratory supplies and pharmaceutical samples within our Basel facility. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating warehouse activities and supporting both laboratory and office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Order, track and maintain inventory levels of lab consumables, chemicals and technical materials.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including requisitioning, restocking and implementation of 6S and Kanban processes.
• Handle goods receipt and shipment of pharmaceutical samples in line with internal procedures.
• Provide administrative and operational support to laboratory and office teams.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of goods.
• Lead and support projects aimed at logistics and warehouse optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Degree or apprenticeship in logistics.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; basic spoken German.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative mindset.
