Logistics Systems & SAP EWM Specialist (80-100%)

About the role

Join Lonza's Supply Chain Management team in Visp as a Logistics Systems & SAP EWM Specialist. You will connect logistics operations, quality and IT to optimise end‑to‑end processes in a GMP‑regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve SAP MM and SAP EWM processes covering inbound, warehousing, production supply, inventory, returns and outbound logistics.
• Analyse business requirements, prepare functional specifications and support system configuration, enhancements, interfaces and roll‑outs together with IT and implementation partners.
• Monitor integration between SAP S/4HANA, decentralized EWM, LIMS, 3PL and warehouse automation systems, coordinating issue resolution.
• Plan and execute testing, data validation, cut‑over, go‑live, hyper‑care and hand‑over, ensuring compliant documentation.
• Manage incidents, master data, change requests and conduct root‑cause analyses to implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Several years of experience with SAP EWM, preferably complemented by SAP MM, in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end warehouse and logistics processes (inbound, storage, inventory, production supply, outbound).
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and drive process improvements.
• Solid knowledge of cGMP, CSV, data integrity and quality requirements is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English required; German is a strong advantage.
