Long-Form Content Writer (AEO/SEO)

About the role

A partner company, recruited through a third-party recruiter, is looking for a long-form content writer based in Switzerland who combines advanced AI workflows with strong editorial judgment. The role covers content research, drafting, optimization and refreshing so that articles perform well on traditional search engines and on emerging AI-powered answer platforms. It is fully remote, with location flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage and continuously improve AI-powered workflows and agent systems for content research, drafting, editing and refreshing.
• Produce publish-ready long-form articles of at least 1,500 words at a consistent, scalable pace.
• Optimize content for AEO and SEO, including answer-first introductions, FAQs, structured headings, schema-ready formatting, internal linking and metadata.
• Verify sources and facts, remove unsupported claims and track content performance on Google and AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
• Develop batch-refresh workflows and monitor efficiency, output, quality and accuracy to improve the process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in long-form writing, content optimization, SEO and/or AEO, with a portfolio of published work.
• Hands-on experience designing and running your own AI workflows, beyond basic writing assistants.
• Ability to write 1,500-word articles consistently and accurately at scale.
• Strong research, analytical and fact-checking skills; ability to show examples of AI-assisted content creation and explain the human contribution.
• Excellent written English, editorial judgment and attention to detail.
• Experience limited to social media, video or short-form copywriting is not sufficient.

Required skills

• SEO and AEO, including search intent, answer-first structures, FAQs, schema-ready formatting and internal linking.
• Tools such as Google Search Console, ClickFlow or comparable SEO and content performance platforms.
