Manager Auditor in Financial Services

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager Auditor to lead audit engagements for national and international companies operating in the banking sector. You will work in a multicultural environment, building trusted client relationships and developing high‑performing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audits of Swiss‑headquartered companies and subsidiaries of multinational groups.
• Adapt audit approaches to evolving client environments and ensure transparency, clarity, and consistency.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and monitor client satisfaction.
• Maintain proactive contact with clients throughout the year.
• Direct daily fieldwork, report engagement status to Senior Managers and Partners, and manage staff performance.
• Coach junior audit team members on accounting and auditing matters.
• Foster an efficient, innovative, and team‑oriented work environment.
• Contribute ideas to audit teams and respond to team members’ views.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Audit & Management Control, Corporate Finance, Business Administration or Economics.
• Certified public accountant qualification (Swiss CPA, DEC, ACCA or equivalent).
• 5‑7 years of external audit experience; Big Four experience is a plus.
• Managerial experience leading audit teams in an international setting and coaching staff.
• Experience with Swiss regulatory audits is a strong asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in French; English and German are strong assets.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and a client‑oriented attitude.
