Manager, CMO/CDMO Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Manager, CMO/CDMO Finance Business Partner supports finance across contract manufacturing and development activities, providing planning, performance management and decision support. Working closely with CMO/CDMO leadership and cross‑functional partners, the role translates operational plans and contracts into clear financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance management for the CMO/CDMO portfolio.
• Partner with demand and supply planning to align forecasts with production volumes, capacity, inventory and lifecycle assumptions.
• Interpret commercial and manufacturing agreements, extracting financial implications, risks and required actions.
• Maintain visibility over pricing mechanisms, milestones, payment terms, claims and accruals.
• Provide cost accounting for virtual plants and external manufacturing, including standard costing, inventory valuation and variance analysis.
• Develop financial models and business cases for supplier selection, tech transfers, capacity changes and contract modifications.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in finance business partnering, manufacturing finance, supply chain, procurement or cost accounting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SAP and planning/reporting or analytics tools.
