Manager, Executive Talent Acquisition

About the role

The Manager, Executive Talent Acquisition leads executive‑level recruiting strategies for DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson business. Based in Zug, the role partners with senior leaders and HR to attract diverse, high‑quality leadership talent across EMEA and APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end executive talent acquisition for senior and critical leadership roles.
• Partner with executive leaders and HR to define leadership profiles, hiring strategies and succession needs.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies, including market mapping and direct outreach, to build diverse executive pipelines.
• Manage executive search processes and coordinate with external search firms where needed.
• Provide market insights, talent intelligence and hiring recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 6‑8 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including executive or senior‑level recruiting.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and influencing skills at executive levels.
• Experience in complex, matrixed, global organisations, preferably in MedTech, Pharma or Healthcare.

• Strong ability to assess leadership capability, potential and cultural alignment.
• High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
• Fluent English; additional European languages preferred.
