Manager Financial Governance

About the role

Lead Financial Governance across the Group, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, reporting standards and governance requirements. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER and complex technical accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain Group accounting policies, procedures and the Accounting & Reporting Manual.
• Monitor regulatory developments and coordinate implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements.
• Lead assessment of complex transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and financing arrangements.
• Oversee impairment testing, significant accounting judgments, estimates and accounting position papers.
• Partner with finance teams, auditors and key stakeholders to ensure consistent application of accounting policies and successful audit execution.
• Drive continuous audit and financial governance improvements through data analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards, user training and reporting insights.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Business Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Swiss CPA qualification.
• Minimum five years of experience in Group Finance, Financial Governance, Audit or Accounting within a complex corporate environment.
• Deep understanding of financial governance principles, internal controls and valuation methodologies.
• Profound practical knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
