Manager, Global Business Services (GBS)

About the role

PwC is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead its Global Business Services (GBS) practice in Zurich. You will work with senior clients across pharma, financial services, retail, industrial products and public services, helping them shape strategy, redesign operating models and drive transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Lead high‑quality projects from inception to delivery, following PwC methodologies and quality standards.
• Define GBS strategies, service delivery models and governance frameworks.
• Manage end‑to‑end transformation programmes, including process mapping, technology assessment, implementation and outsourcing.
• Facilitate workshops, build relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate the GBS value proposition.
• Support service transitions, application migrations and change‑management activities.
• Develop business cases, perform financial analysis and cost modelling to generate ROI and savings.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in GBS or outsourcing, with deep knowledge of the Swiss market.
• At least 5 years of consulting experience, including pipeline building, project management and team leadership.
• Proven track record in GBS set‑ups and transformations (procurement, supply chain, FP&A, HR, IT).
• Fluent in English and German; French is a plus.
