Manager, Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) – Mid‑Sized Markets

About the role

The Manager, Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) will lead health economics and market access activities for the Surgery portfolio within MedTech, focusing on Switzerland and Austria. You will develop and execute market access strategies, create robust economic arguments, and support funding and procedural adoption for new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market access strategies for new and existing technologies.
• Support the development of HEMA tools and translate complex messages for the sales force.
• Build and maintain relationships with payers, healthcare professionals, and governmental bodies.
• Provide input into evidence generation strategies and identify local health‑economic evidence opportunities.
• Lead health‑economic input for commercial initiatives, including value‑based procurement and agreements.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in health economics, health policy, public health, economics, outcomes research or related field.
• ≥3 years experience in medical devices, healthcare or pharma, HTA, payer organizations or consultancy, preferably in Switzerland or Austria.
• Strong understanding of HTA principles, healthcare system processes and payer bodies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a cross‑functional matrix environment.
• Excellent communication skills and German language proficiency.
