Manager, Health Economics & Market Access (Mid‑Sized Markets)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a senior manager to lead health economics and market access activities for its Surgery portfolio in Switzerland and Austria. The role will develop and execute market access strategies, create health‑economic tools, and support funding and procedural adoption across MedTech.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market access strategies for new technologies and existing portfolios.
• Support the development of HEMA tools and translate complex messages for the sales force.
• Build and maintain relationships with payers, healthcare professionals, and governmental bodies.
• Provide input into evidence generation strategy and identify local health‑economic evidence opportunities.
• Accountable for health‑economic input into commercial initiatives, including value‑based procurement and agreements.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in health economics, health policy, public health, economics, outcomes research or related field.
• Solid understanding of HTA principles and health‑economic methodologies.
• More than 3 years of experience in medical devices, pharma, HTA agencies, consultancy or academia, preferably in Switzerland or Austria.
• Strong project‑management orientation and ability to work in a cross‑functional matrix environment.
• Excellent communication skills and German language proficiency.
