Manager Infusion Testing Laboratory

About the role

As the Manager of the Technical Laboratory at mylife Diabetes Care, you will lead a team that supports the development and lifecycle of medical devices through reliable measurement and testing. You will be responsible for building the methods, expertise and processes needed to deliver high‑quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the laboratory team and support its professional development.
• Plan and coordinate activities, resources and budget in line with business priorities.
• Ensure the team has the technical expertise and resources required for its work.
• Establish and improve measurement and test methods that support product development and lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain effective team processes, meeting quality and documentation requirements.
• Identify technical and operational challenges, make sound decisions and implement practical solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to coordinate activities and leverage expertise across the organisation.
• Maintain relationships with external testing and measurement laboratories when needed.

Required profile

• Relevant technical education (vocational training or university degree); further education is an advantage.
• Several years of professional experience in a technical/physical laboratory or related industrial environment.
• Strong technical understanding and interest in measurement and testing.
• Methodical problem‑solving approach and ability to make sound decisions.
• Experience coordinating work, resources, projects and stakeholders; people‑management experience is a plus.
• Clear communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
• Experience in a regulated or medical‑technology environment is beneficial.
