Manager, Planning Parameters & Analytics

About the role

The Manager, Planning Parameters & Analytics will lead governance and execution of planning parameters for DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson orthopedics business. You will develop policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity and drive continuous improvement through analytics and business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain governance for planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, reorder points, and sourcing rules.
• Develop KPI frameworks and performance metrics to measure forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, planning effectiveness, and master data quality.
• Analyze complex datasets and deliver actionable insights to improve supply chain and planning performance.
• Present data‑driven recommendations to leadership and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Planning Directors to manage BI tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Lead master data management initiatives ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and standardisation across systems.
• Partner with IT to support ERP enhancements, data architecture improvements, and system integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, analytics or related disciplines.
• Expertise in Master Data Management and data governance.
• Solid experience with ERP systems, especially SAP and/or JD Edwards.
• Proven ability to develop and manage planning performance metrics and KPI frameworks.
• Strong capability to translate complex data into business insights and operational improvements.
