Manager, Planning Parameters & Analytics

About the role

The Manager, Planning Parameters & Analytics will lead governance and execution of planning master data and system parameters for DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson orthopedics business. You will ensure data integrity, drive continuous improvement through analytics, and support data‑driven decision‑making across supply‑chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain governance for planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, reorder points, and sourcing rules.
• Develop KPI frameworks and performance metrics to measure forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and master‑data quality.
• Analyze large data sets, deliver actionable insights, and present recommendations to leadership and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Planning Directors to build and manage BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Lead master‑data management initiatives, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and standardisation across ERP systems.
• Partner with IT to support ERP enhancements, data‑architecture improvements, and system integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply‑chain analytics, master‑data management or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into business insights and operational improvements.

Required skills

• Master Data Management (MDM) and data‑governance expertise.
• ERP systems experience – SAP and/or JD Edwards.
• SQL, Alteryx, JavaScript, Python.
• Business intelligence tools – Power BI or Tableau.
• Supply‑chain planning systems – APO, Blue Yonder, OMP.
