Manager, Procurement CCPM & CE

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Procurement CCPM & CE to lead sourcing, supplier management and contract execution for capital construction, project management and capital equipment CAPEX categories at its Schaffhausen site. The role is site‑based and focuses on delivering cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions for major investment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Implement category strategies for Capital Construction and Capital Equipment, including negotiated agreements, preferred suppliers and value engineering.
• Manage medium‑ to high‑complexity spend, optimizing cost, cash flow, schedule, risk and service outcomes while delivering savings and value creation.
• Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract execution and ongoing supplier performance improvement.
• Partner with Engineering, Property Services, Global Engineering Technology and business stakeholders to support project delivery and demand planning.
• Identify and lead procurement transformation initiatives, leveraging benchmarking, market intelligence, risk assessment and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Science or related field; MBA or master’s preferred.
• Minimum five years of procurement, sourcing or category management experience, preferably with capital projects, construction or highly regulated manufacturing.
• Significant contracting experience, including subcontractor management and knowledge of Swiss construction contracts (SIA 118).
• Strong negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed, multicultural environment and communicate fluently in English; German is an asset.
