Manager, Procurement CCPM & CE

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Procurement CCPM & CE to lead sourcing, supplier management and contract execution for capital construction, project management and capital equipment CAPEX categories at its Schaffhausen site. The role is site‑based and supports the delivery of investment projects through strategic supplier partnerships and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Implement category strategies for Capital Construction and Capital Equipment, including negotiated agreements, preferred suppliers and value engineering.
• Manage medium‑ to high‑complexity spend, optimizing cost, cash flow, schedule, risk and service outcomes.
• Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract execution and ongoing relationship management.
• Support global procurement programme deployment and ensure local execution aligns with regional expectations.
• Partner with Engineering, Property Services, GET, Finance, EHS, Quality and Operations to meet project sourcing needs.
• Drive supplier performance, innovation and sustainability through data‑driven reviews and continuous improvement.
• Identify and lead procurement transformation initiatives, including automation and AI‑enabled processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Science or related field; MBA or master’s preferred.
• Minimum five years of procurement, sourcing or category management experience, preferably in capital projects, construction or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong contracting experience, including Swiss construction contracts (SIA 118).
• Proven negotiation, supplier relationship and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a complex, matrixed, multicultural environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English; German is an asset.
