Manager, Technology Consulting – AI & Data

About the role

EY is seeking a senior manager to lead AI and Data consulting for the Financial Services sector. The role involves designing AI‑driven solutions, driving business development, and delivering high‑impact projects across Switzerland and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development activities in AI and Data for Financial Services, preparing proposals and strategic initiatives.
• Design and deliver AI solutions such as agentic AI, intelligent automation, and data engineering for CRM, ERP, CBS, KYC and data platforms.
• Manage project teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions.
• Mentor junior colleagues, conduct trainings and build a Data & AI knowledge base.
• Collaborate with local and international EY teams to deliver cross‑geography client solutions.

Required profile

• Higher education in data science, computer science, mathematics, natural sciences or engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience in banking, wealth & asset management or insurance, focusing on data‑heavy systems.
• Proven track record of leading transformation projects and managing teams.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally abroad.

Required skills

• Experience with AI domains: Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, Machine Learning.
• Knowledge of data architecture concepts: Data Lake, Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, ETL, Streaming.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, CBS, KYC, and data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Fabric.
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Azure stack for data and AI.
• Strong communication skills bridging IT and business stakeholders.
