Manager - Technology Consulting - Cyber Security

About the role

EY's FSO Technology Consulting practice in Zurich is looking for a manager (80-100% time) to lead Cybersecurity consulting. The focus is on information security and risk assessment of processes, applications, systems and IT infrastructures in banks and insurance companies, within a team covering AI & Data, Cyber Security, Technology Strategy and Transformation and Finance Platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Work on projects in hot Cybersecurity topics such as cloud security, blockchain, DevOps, penetration testing and security architecture
• Handle IT risk assurance, including internal controls and risk and compliance management
• Manage and execute complex Cybersecurity engagements
• Contribute to go-to-market strategy, identify sales opportunities and prepare proposals for financial services and insurance clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional EY teams to promote the Cybersecurity team's capabilities and seize cross-functional sales opportunities
• Present at security conferences and professional meetings
• Support customers in assessing and improving the effectiveness and quality of their Cybersecurity posture, and help them understand the cyber threat landscape and assess the maturity of their Cybersecurity strategy

Required profile

• Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Business Information Technology or a related technical field, or a MAS in Information Security, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, information security and technical IT security assessments
• Leadership, team mentoring, client and project management experience
• Fluent German and English

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001:2013 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• In-depth experience in one or more areas such as security architecture, data protection, network security or identity and access management
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or CISA are ideal
• Previous knowledge of the financial services sector is a plus
