Managing Director – Switzerland

About the role

Ingram Micro is seeking a Managing Director for Switzerland to lead the country’s business, define market strategy and drive profitable growth. Reporting to the SVP CCE DACH, you will be a key member of the DACH leadership team and act as the senior executive responsible for the Swiss market.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full country P&L, ensuring revenue, profitability and cash performance.
• Define and execute a market strategy aligned with DACH and global priorities.
• Accelerate growth across core distribution, advanced solutions and digital platforms.
• Strengthen relationships with vendors, customers and partners, positioning Ingram Micro as a strategic advisor.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing leadership team.
• Identify new business opportunities, including innovation and ecosystem expansion.
• Ensure operational excellence, efficiency and scalable processes.
• Represent Ingram Micro with industry stakeholders, regulators and customers.
• Champion ESG, compliance and inclusive leadership practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Managing Director, Country Manager or senior General Manager with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong track record of driving growth and transformation in complex, multinational environments.
• Deep understanding of the Swiss technology, distribution or B2B ecosystem.
• Successful business development, partnership and stakeholder management experience.
• Inspirational leader capable of building and retaining high‑performing teams.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline and decision‑making ability.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (French a plus).
• University degree in business, technology or related field; MBA preferred.
