Manufacturing Operations Manager

About the role

Lead the end‑to‑end operations of Filling, Assembly and Compounding at Estée Lauder’s Swiss manufacturing hub, overseeing 80‑100 employees. Ensure safety, quality, service and cost targets are exceeded while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across Filling, Assembly and Compounding and ensure GMP, safety and quality compliance.
• Develop and execute annual plans, budgets and a clear roadmap to achieve yearly targets.
• Drive Lean, TPM and OpEx initiatives, manage the Operational Masterplan and lead SOP ownership.
• Coach and develop the team, foster a high‑performance culture and act as a change agent in transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Planning, QA, HR, Finance and Logistics and support new product launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of manufacturing leadership experience in GMP‑regulated environments.
• Fluent in German and English with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven budget management, strategic planning and problem‑solving abilities.
