Manufacturing Process Engineering Consultant

About the role

ELLEON is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineering Consultant to support a leading Swiss industrial company in the Zurich region. You will bridge product development, production, supply chain, quality, IT and operations to design scalable, efficient production processes for new products.

Key responsibilities

• Join ongoing industrialisation projects and support new product introductions.
• Define, optimise and validate assembly processes and technical line layouts.
• Contribute to stage‑gate processes with realistic production insights.
• Translate product requirements into robust, scalable production lines.
• Align project requirements with production reality and ensure process feasibility.

Required profile

• MSc degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Production or Business Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process or production engineering, industrialisation or process development.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, production line concepts and scalable manufacturing.
• Experience with industrialisation of new products in project‑based environments.
• Familiarity with manufacturing IT systems such as MES, ERP or PLM.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification or comparable process‑improvement experience (preferred).
• Fluent English; German proficiency is a strong advantage.
