Manufacturing Specialist – Immunology (Biotech)

About the role

UCB is looking for an Immunology Manufacturing Specialist to join the Biotech plant in Bulle, Switzerland. The role supports production activities, ensures documentation quality, and contributes to continuous improvement within a tight‑knit team of 13 internal collaborators.

Key responsibilities

• Draft deviation reports and ensure timely submission.
• Track deviations from issuance through closure.
• Conduct investigations, document findings, and support root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and PMO projects.
• Troubleshoot production zones, act as a process expert, and provide on‑call process support.
• Review and interpret production results in real time, taking immediate corrective actions and helping define action plans.
• Identify, document, and drive continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the biotech industry.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to take initiative.
• Strong investigative and problem‑solving abilities across technical, organisational, and relational issues.
• Good leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English.

• Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
