Mechanical Engineer Boiler and Filter Systems

About the role

As the technical lead you will be the main point of contact for boiler cleaning and filter system projects throughout their lifecycle. You will coordinate cross‑disciplinary interfaces and ensure compliance with technical, quality and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare supplier specifications, lead technical negotiations and manage supplier performance during execution.
• Coordinate technical interfaces across disciplines, review and validate drawings, P&IDs and system components.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean processes and conduct supplier inspections for boilers, hydraulic systems, scrubbers and composite components.
• Resolve technical and production challenges proactively.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering with relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of system design, optimisation, technical specifications and industry standards (EN, ISO, ASME, ASTM, API).
• Experience with fibre composite materials and 2D/3D CAD methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 and AI tools, fluent in German and English, hands‑on problem‑solving mindset.
