Mechanical Equipment Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Equipment Engineer to join SBM Offshore’s engineering team. You will contribute to the design and delivery of reliable, cost-effective and safe mechanical solutions for our deep-water floating production assets.

Key responsibilities

• Select appropriate methods and procedures and optimise designs in line with specifications, international codes and company standards.
• Plan, execute and deliver engineering activities and deliverables within agreed time-frames while managing system interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and internal requirements and incorporate lessons learned across project boundaries.
• Coordinate technical work with vendors, subcontractors and third-party partners.

Required profile

• Engineering diploma in a relevant discipline.
• 0-5 years of experience in engineering design, preferably in offshore or related industries.
• Proven ability to work with engineering design and calculation tools, concept development and detailed design.
