Media Relations & Content Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Media Relations & Content Specialist to support the Head of Media in executing the bank’s media strategy across Europe and the Middle East, with a focus on French‑speaking Switzerland. The role will bridge journalists, internal experts and digital teams to ensure consistent, on‑brand communication.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the media strategy, coordinate with agencies across EMEA, and manage interview and briefing logistics.
• Prepare and maintain media materials such as Q&As, talking points, bios and background notes.
• Draft, edit and translate press releases, statements, Q&As and opinion pieces, ensuring compliance and brand tone.
• Collaborate with the Digital team to amplify coverage and with Internal Communications to share exposure.
• Monitor media coverage, analyse visibility and sentiment using monitoring tools, and produce regular KPI reports for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of media relations experience in financial services or an agency serving financial clients.
• Proven ability to work with financial and business media in an international environment.
• Strong writing and editing skills under tight deadlines.
• Experience handling sensitive, regulated topics and managing multiple regional requests.
• Fluent in English and French; additional European languages a plus.
