Medical Director – Endocrinology (Europe)

About the role

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Medical Director to lead endocrine therapeutic programs across Europe. The role provides medical and scientific guidance throughout clinical development, ensuring study designs are robust, patient‑focused, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical input on protocol development, study design, and amendment reviews for Phase 1‑4 programs.
• Interpret clinical data, review safety reports, and contribute to medical narratives and regulatory response documents.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biostatistics, Data Management, Drug Safety, and external investigators to ensure study accuracy and participant safety.
• Support the drafting, medical review, and finalization of study documents, including informed consent forms and clinical study reports.
• Engage with investigators and sites to address scientific queries and ensure operational feasibility.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) with board certification or extensive experience in endocrinology.
• Proven leadership in clinical development of endocrine therapies.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and safety monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
