Medical Director – Precision Oncology

About the role

DAiNA is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical and oncological oversight of its precision‑oncology cases across Europe. You will bridge treating physicians, molecular tumor boards, bioinformatics, AI/ML, and wet‑lab teams to translate complex multi‑omics data into personalized cancer‑treatment recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical and oncological oversight for patient‑specific precision‑oncology cases.
• Review clinical records, pathology reports, imaging summaries and ensure completeness and relevance.
• Contribute to case summaries, molecular interpretation reports and therapy‑relevant recommendations.
• Sign‑off on DAiNA reports, guaranteeing medical accuracy and clinical relevance.
• Translate multi‑omics, liquid‑biopsy, and ex‑vivo functional testing results into actionable oncology hypotheses.
• Interface with treating physicians, external oncologists and molecular tumor boards, preparing and following up case discussions.
• Support clinical risk assessment and patient‑safety considerations.
• Help shape DAiNA’s broader clinical strategy, including personalized therapeutics and monitoring concepts.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Oncology or related specialty.
• Extensive experience in clinical oncology and precision‑medicine workflows.
• Strong understanding of multi‑omics data and functional tumor testing.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly to clinicians.
• Proven track record of medical leadership in a biotech or academic setting.
