Mobile Application Developer (Cross-Platform Mobile Engineer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to join a long‑term enterprise project in Basel. This fixed‑term position lasts three years with the possibility of extension, and focuses on building secure, high‑performance cross‑platform mobile solutions for field‑force operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native and native iOS/Android components.
• Integrate applications with backend services via RESTful APIs, SOAP/XML, JSON and XML data formats.
• Ensure cross‑platform compatibility and optimal performance on both iOS and Android devices.
• Implement monitoring, error analysis, and performance tracking mechanisms.
• Integrate authentication and authorisation protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect and SAML.
• Support integration testing, produce technical documentation, and manage production defect analysis and change requests.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of enterprise mobile application development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with React Native and hybrid native integrations.
• Proven ability to work in multi‑tier enterprise environments and deliver mission‑critical mobile solutions.
