Mobile Engineer – React Native (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer specialized in React Native to join a fully remote team building a peer‑to‑peer mobile platform for secure, decentralized communication. You will develop and enhance a cross‑platform iOS/Android app using React Native and Expo, working on messaging, voice/video calls, media sharing, device pairing and identity backup.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cross‑platform features from concept through testing and release.
• Integrate native capabilities such as push notifications, camera, biometric authentication and background tasks.
• Profile and optimise performance on real devices, focusing on startup time, media processing, battery consumption and network usage.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests, support CI workflows, crash reporting and debugging.

Required profile

• Significant professional experience with React Native and mobile application development.
• Strong JavaScript expertise (ES6+), comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams and communicating effectively in English.
