About the role
Google is seeking a Motion and Visual Designer to craft fluid, natural, and informative animations for its products, including YouTube. You will help define and implement Google’s motion design language across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the look and feel of Google products through motion design.
- Provide animation patterns, best practices, and guidance for devices such as TV, tablets, wearables, and mobile, as well as platforms like web, Android, and iOS.
- Create high‑quality design proposals and drive projects from concept through iterations to implementation.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of motion design experience in product, UX, or UI animation.
- Experience with physics‑based motion, patterns, and visual design elements.
- Experience documenting motion values into design tokens and component libraries.
Required skills
- Motion design tools and workflows (Lottie, Bodymovin, JSON data structures).
- Web animation technologies (CSS, SVG, Canvas).
- Prototyping tools (ProtoPie, Rive, Framer, basic code/shaders).
- 3D asset creation tools (Cinema 4D, Blender).
