Network Supply Manager (m/w/d) – Basel

About the role

We Make It GmbH, a Swiss national personnel services company, is recruiting on behalf of F. Hoffmann-La Roche for a Network Supply Manager based in Basel. The role sits in the Global Supply Chain Operations Organization, which centrally manages supply, inventory and replenishment planning for drug products and drug substances and balances demand and supply across markets, products, manufacturing assets and inventory points. The Network Supply Manager owns the supply plan for up to three years for externally manufactured drug substances and drug products and ensures their reliable supply worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own an executable supply plan covering zero to three years, enabling production and scheduling of the assigned external asset(s) and/or product(s)
• Manage inventory within the internal and external manufacturing network to ensure supply, avoid obsolescence and allow for proactive inventory allowances
• Act as the Supply Chain partner for Contract Manufacturing Organizations, maintaining a robust, productive and constructive relationship
• Carry out the order fulfillment lifecycle from intermediates to drug products, ensuring quality, on-time delivery and compliance
• Represent Supply Chain in Joint Management Team meetings with CMOs and support performance reviews and root cause analysis
• Define improvements to meet or exceed performance targets and network requirements, and act as intermediary between production sites, CMOs and global partners

Required profile

• BS degree in Supply Chain or Science and/or APICS certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of supply chain experience
• Strong strategy, finance and business acumen
• Excellent verbal and written English; proactive, team player and natural orchestrator
• Only candidates from the EU are considered
