About the role
A private family in the Vaud region seeks an experienced Night Nurse to provide attentive overnight care for their 4‑week‑old baby. The role offers a calm environment where you will stay in the baby’s nursery throughout the night, ensuring both infant and parents receive the rest they need.
Key responsibilities
- Attend to feeding, soothing, changing and comforting the newborn throughout the night.
- Monitor the baby’s wellbeing and follow the parents’ preferred routines.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised nursery.
- Communicate clearly with the parents about the baby’s night‑time status.
Required profile
- Previous professional experience caring for newborns as a Night Nurse, Maternity Nurse or Neonatal Nurse.
- Calm, nurturing and reliable, able to work independently during overnight hours.
- Fluency in English and/or French.
- Valid Swiss/EU passport or Swiss work permit.
Required skills
- First Aid certification (advantageous).
What we offer
- Accommodation in the baby’s nursery with a provided bed.
- Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (9:00 am – 8:30 pm) with a 2‑hour midday break.
- Immediate start date.
